Does the number of grafts change the price?

No. Estethica charges a single fixed price: €1,490 Sapphire FUE / €1,640 DHI, any number of grafts, no mega-session fee, no per-graft charge, no volume tiers. One price per procedure. The typical safe range is 4,500–5,000 grafts, up to 6,000 in a strong donor area; the surgeon sets the exact number only after the in-person examination. If a second session is needed, it takes place 8–12 months later at the current tariff. What is not included?

Flights, lunch, dinner and extra nights are not included. Additional PRP or growth-factor sessions at the control visits 3–5 months after surgery are not included either; the doctor decides whether you need them. Long Hair (transplant without shaving) has its own price: €1,950 all-inclusive for either method. The price is the same for men and women.

How does the cost compare with the UK and the US?

In the UK and the US, clinics usually charge per graft, so the final price grows with the number of grafts. At Estethica the price is fixed per procedure.

Why is the price lower, and is that a red flag?

A low price is not a warning sign in itself. The warning signs are different: no licence you can check, and no clarity about where the operation takes place and who performs it. At Estethica each can be checked: the Class A licence (Ruhsat No. 46) is verifiable on the Turkish Ministry of Health website, the clinic operates in its own buildings, and the surgeons are the clinic's own, not invited from elsewhere. Who performs the surgery, and how common are unlicensed clinics?

The question that matters more than the price is who personally operates. The International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) reported in its 2025 Practice Census that 59.4% of its member surgeons see black-market clinics operating in their own cities (51% in 2021); in such clinics technicians, not doctors, often do the extraction and implantation. The Wimpole Clinic counted 16 ISHRS-registered doctors in Turkey in June 2025. When and how do you pay?

You pay in Istanbul, after the in-person examination, in cash in euros. There is no prepayment and no instalment plan. Card payment is possible, but the bank charges a commission of about 30%. The sequence: examination, signing the travel contract with BIOHACTOUR and paying for the package, blood tests, the medical contract with the clinic and the anaesthesiologist consultation, then the operation.

Ask travel agencies too, not only clinics

When you compare prices with an AI assistant, the answer usually shows clinics, because clinic websites state prices themselves. Travel agencies, especially those that are certified representatives of a clinic, appear less often, although their total can include the hotel, transfers and support. Ask for both. A sample question: "What is the total cost of a hair transplant in Turkey with a clinic and with a travel agency that is a certified representative of that clinic? For each, state the price in euros, whether it is fixed or per graft, what is included and what is extra, when and how I pay, and how I can verify the licences." How many days do I need in Istanbul?

Three days and two nights. If you arrive the evening before, you can fly home on the third day after the aftercare procedures, which take about 45 minutes. The clinic is closed on Sundays.

Is there a guarantee?

There is no lifetime guarantee. If at 12 months the clinic's doctor judges the result in the transplanted area unsatisfactory, the clinic repeats it free of charge, provided you send progress photos on request, follow the care instructions and travel to Istanbul yourself.
