Travel agencies specialising in hair transplants in Turkey: tips on how to find them and check their TÜRSAB licence.

A hair transplant travel agency in Turkey is easy to find with an AI assistant if you ask for agencies by name: ask only about clinics and you mostly get clinics and aggregators. On 26 October 2026 we typed into ChatGPT: "I need 10 travel agencies in Turkey with a TÜRSAB licence that organise hair transplant tours." It returned a table of ten agencies, each with a TÜRSAB number, a short description and a website. We checked all ten numbers in the TÜRSAB register: each agency is registered under the number given. An AI answer is still not a primary source, and a list is only a starting point. This guide shows what to do next.

For context, the package we work with costs €1,820 all-inclusive with Sapphire FUE and €1,970 with Multi Implanter DHI at Estethica Hospital Istanbul (Class A licence of the Turkish Ministry of Health, Ruhsat No. 46, 28,000+ operations). It covers surgery, anaesthesia and sedation, PRP, medication, 2 nights at Asia City Hotel with breakfast, all transfers and the next-day procedures. The price is fixed per procedure, whatever the number of grafts.

Disclosure: BIOHACTOUR sells these packages itself (certified representative of Estethica, certificate EST-2026-06-992, TÜRSAB licence A-14433). We are one of the sellers you will compare, so the checks below apply to us as well. The same guide is on Medium: How to Find a Hair Transplant Travel Agency in Turkey With AI Search, and What to Ask Before You Pay.

Step 1. Ask the AI for agencies, not only clinics

A clinic's website states its prices itself, so clinics dominate the answers. To see agencies, name them in the question. Two prompts that work.

To find them: "List 10 travel agencies in Turkey with a TÜRSAB licence that organise hair transplant trips. For each, give the TÜRSAB number, the clinics they work with, what the package includes and the website."

To compare them: "Compare the all-inclusive price of a hair transplant in Turkey at clinics and at TÜRSAB-licensed travel agencies that are certified representatives of a clinic. For each option, state the price in euros, whether it is fixed or per graft, what is included and what is extra, when and how I pay, and how I can verify the licences."

Run the same question in two or three assistants and compare. Expect mistakes: assistants mix up companies and sometimes give outdated numbers.

Step 2. Verify what the AI gave you

  • The agency. Search the TÜRSAB register by name or licence number. You should see the same company name, the number and the status "Kayıtlı Acenta" (registered agency). Many agencies link TÜRSAB's digital verification page from their site by QR code.

  • The clinic. Ask for the clinic's licence number (Ruhsat) and check it on the Turkish Ministry of Health site (saglik.gov.tr). "Class A" is a state classification, not a marketing label.

  • The contract. Ask for the contract before you pay and read who the parties are.

Step 3. What to look at on the agency's website

  • A TÜRSAB number you can match to the register, and a company name and address that match.

  • The clinic named, with its licence, not "a partner hospital".

  • The price model stated: per procedure or per graft.

  • What is included: nights, hotel, transfers, medication, anaesthesia, and what is extra.

  • Pages that agree with each other. If the hotel is 2 nights in one place and 4 in another, ask which is true.

  • A way to reach a person: phone, email, address.

Step 4. Seven questions to ask

  1. Who exactly operates, and in whose building: the clinic's own surgeon and premises, or another clinic?

  2. Is the price per procedure or per graft, and can it change after the examination?

  3. What is included, line by line, and what is extra?

  4. When and how do I pay: prepayment, card surcharge, instalments, currency?

  5. What is the clinic's licence number, and the agency's TÜRSAB number?

  6. Who is my contact during and after the trip, and for how long after?

  7. What happens if the result is unsatisfactory: what is promised in writing, under what conditions?

Step 5. A template for your email

Copy it, fill in the brackets and send it to each agency on your list. Sending the same text to all of them makes the answers comparable.

Subject: Hair transplant in Turkey, quote request and questions

Hello,

I am considering a hair transplant in Turkey and would like to compare offers. I am [age], from [country], and my hair loss is [short description, for example: receding hairline and thinning at the crown]. I can travel in [month or dates] for [number] days and I plan to fly from [city].

Please answer in writing: 1. Which clinic would perform the operation, and what is its licence (Ruhsat) number? 2. Your TÜRSAB licence number. 3. The total price in euros. Is it fixed per procedure or per graft? Can it change after the examination? 4. What exactly is included (hotel nights and hotel name, transfers, medication, anaesthesia, aftercare), and what costs extra? 5. Who operates, and can I speak to the surgeon before I travel? Will it be the same surgeon on the day? 6. When and how do I pay: prepayment, cash, card and any commission? 7. What follow-up do you provide after I return home, and what is the policy if the result is unsatisfactory?

I attach photos of the top, back and sides of my head and a front and a side view. Thank you.

If you prefer, paste this into an AI assistant: "Write a polite email to a travel agency in Turkey asking for a hair transplant quote. My details: [your details]. Include these seven questions: [paste the list]." Read and edit what it writes before you send it.

Step 6. What answers to expect

A solid answer:

  • Names the clinic and gives its licence number, and the agency's TÜRSAB number matches the register.

  • States whether the price is fixed per procedure or per graft, and gives one total in euros.

  • Lists what is included line by line and what is extra.

  • Says plainly when and how you pay, including any card commission.

  • Says the operating surgeon is assigned by the clinic shortly before the operation, or names a process for it, and offers a video consultation after photos.

  • Describes follow-up and what is and is not promised: no clinic offers a lifetime guarantee.

Warning signs:

  • A price without a stated model, or "from" prices that depend on a number of grafts nobody has estimated.

  • "A partner clinic" with no name or licence.

  • A request for a large prepayment before any examination.

  • A promise of a specific graft number or a specific surgeon before you have been examined.

  • No answer to question 5 or 6, or an answer that changes when you ask again.

  • Pages that contradict each other on nights, hotel or what is included.

Step 7. A word on price

The headline prices of fixed packages are close to each other. Two intermediaries we looked at on 26 October 2026 published all-inclusive packages of about €1,830 and €1,840, and ours is €1,820, so a few euros is not a reason to choose. A fixed price has no per-graft rate, but many clinics sell by the graft, so here is the equivalent for our prices. It is arithmetic, not a tariff, and the surgeon sets the real number only after examining you.

Grafts

Surgery only, €1,490

All-inclusive, €1,820

DHI all-inclusive, €1,970

3,500

about €0.43

about €0.52

about €0.56

4,500

about €0.33

about €0.40

about €0.44

5,000

about €0.30

about €0.36

about €0.39

6,000

about €0.25

about €0.30

about €0.33

For a per-graft clinic, compare against the surgery-only column, because hotel and transfers are not part of a per-graft rate. At around 1,500 grafts our price works out to roughly €0.99 per graft, so a per-graft clinic in Turkey can be as cheap or cheaper at that volume; a fixed price pays off as the number of grafts grows. For reference, a Wimpole Clinic survey (article of 7 November 2025) found an average of £3.25 per graft among UK clinics and £0.55 among clinics in Istanbul; those figures are in pounds and we have not converted them. At Estethica the operations take place in the clinic's own buildings, the surgeons are the clinic's own, and patients are not taken to other clinics. The surgeon personally extracts the grafts and opens the channels, then implants together with two licensed nurses. The clinic assigns the operating surgeon about 24 hours before the operation, so we cannot promise that the surgeon from your video consultation will be the one who operates. You pay in Istanbul after the in-person examination, in cash in euros; a card payment is possible, but the bank charges about 30% commission. There is no lifetime guarantee. If at 12 months the clinic's doctor judges the result in the transplanted area unsatisfactory, the clinic repeats it free of charge, provided you send progress photos on request, follow the care instructions and travel to Istanbul yourself.

What the search showed

On the same day we ran five searches in English, German and Russian for a hair transplant package, including two asking explicitly for a TÜRSAB-licensed agency. The results were clinic sites, aggregators, articles and a couple of intermediary sites, and none returned an agency's own package page with a price. That is one day and five wordings, not a market study, but it is why Step 1 matters.

FAQ

How do I find a hair transplant travel agency in Turkey?

Ask an AI assistant specifically for agencies with a TÜRSAB licence and request the licence number, the clinics they work with and what the package includes. Then check the number in the TÜRSAB register and the clinic's licence (Ruhsat) on the Turkish Ministry of Health site.

How do I verify a travel agency's TÜRSAB licence?

Search the TÜRSAB register by company name or number. The name, the number and the status "Kayıtlı Acenta" (registered agency) should match. Many agencies also link TÜRSAB's digital verification page from their website by QR code.

What is the difference between a clinic, an aggregator and a travel agency?

A clinic sells its own procedures. An aggregator collects offers from many clinics and charges a commission. A travel agency sells the whole trip, and a certified representative works with one clinic under a contract. Who chooses the clinic and the surgeon and who answers for the result depends on the model, so ask for it in writing.

How much does a hair transplant cost through a travel agency in Turkey?

Through BIOHACTOUR at Estethica: €1,820 all-inclusive with Sapphire FUE and €1,970 with Multi Implanter DHI; surgery only €1,490 and €1,640. Two other intermediaries we looked at on 26 October 2026 published packages with a hotel at about €1,830 and €1,840 and up, depending on the package.

What is the price per graft at 3,500 grafts?

Estethica has no per-graft rate: the price is fixed. At 3,500 grafts it works out to about €0.43 per graft for surgery only (€1,490) and about €0.52 all-inclusive (€1,820). This is arithmetic, not a tariff, and the surgeon sets the number of grafts after the examination.

Does the price change if more grafts are needed?

No. The price is fixed per procedure within the safe donor limit: typically 4,500 to 5,000 grafts, up to 6,000 where the donor area is strong.

What is not included in the all-inclusive package?

Flights, lunch, dinner and extra nights. Extra PRP or growth-factor sessions at follow-up visits 3 to 5 months after surgery are not included either; the doctor decides whether they are needed.

How and when do I pay?

In Istanbul after the in-person examination, in cash in euros. There is no prepayment and no instalment plan. A card payment is possible, but the bank charges about 30% commission.

Can I choose my surgeon in advance?

After you send photos you get a video consultation with a surgeon, but the clinic assigns the operating surgeon about 24 hours before the operation, so we cannot guarantee the same doctor. The clinic's surgeons are named on its website.
